 The members of Lewd Buddha create a tasty form of Sonic Gumbo, blending hard rock, funk, soul & blues with a dash of Latin flavor and a love for spontaneous musical combustion. Lewd Buddha has been described as "... an urban jam band that redefines the jam genre by incorporating grit into a melodic flow." Lewd Buddha delivers a performance filled with energy, power & spirit. The hard hitting funk sound was born when Frank& Bob wrote Habitual Ritual on tour. The sound they discovered had them wanting more. When they got off the bus they had four more tracks – all before they had a backing band. Lewd Buddha has shared the stage with many national and international acts including Rusted Root, and P-Funk. With popularity spanning various listening audiences, their music has also backed several hip-hop artists during free style jam settings. Lewd Buddha's first CD Soap & Tobasco, 2003, received rave reviews followed by Life in Interesting Times in 2005. Lewd Buddha's third CD, Chasin' the Mokey is set for a 2009 release.
